NFL Draft Day 2 Prospects

Another week, another list. This time it’s the Day 2 Prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft – which is going be where the meat of this draft takes place. Last week we discussed how the Day 1 talent was light. That is the complete opposite for Day 2. There are so. many. players that can be useful to NFL teams in Rounds 2-3. There are a ton of starters – on both offensive and defensive lines, the skill positions and the secondary. I think you will see a ton of running backs go in this group, as well as corners and defensive tackles.

While there may not be a ton of “superstars” in this class, the word contributor comes to mind. Players that will not only be staples of teams, but part of the culture of a locker room, and invaluable to teams for a lot of years. Think of guys like Doug Baldwin. Players who aren’t going to make a ton of pro-bowls or all-pro teams, but guys who you know you will miss if they are gone. And there aren’t enough of those players in the league. When we look back on this draft in a few years, we will look at the teams who had picks in these rounds that we view as “successful” because they raised the culture of their football team.

Instead of “Best Fit” here, we will just say where we think the players will go in the draft. Could be “early”, “mid” or “late” round. Let’s get to it.
